During the FWJ, high school graduates can spend a year working on a research project of their choice.

Hannover Medical School (MHH) is still accepting applications for the Voluntary Year in Science programme. The programme is aimed at high school graduates who are interested in studying or training in the natural sciences. It offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in research and to orientate themselves professionally.
Participants accompany a research project of their choice for a year. The topics range from biomedicine, chemistry and physics to engineering.
